ST. LOUIS, MO (KPLR) – Police plan to charge a woman today after a fatal hit and run crash last week.

Police said Yelena Pelts, 54, was a person of interest in the accident. Now, the Chesterfield woman is a suspect in the hit and run. They linked her minivan to the crash that killed Roy Joseph, 41, of Chesterfield.

His body was found early Wednesday morning along Olive Boulevard near Highway 141. Police say they will ask the county prosecutor Wednesday to file charges against Pelts.
