Heat Up St. Louis sets record for Hardee’s Rise and Shine

(KPLR)  – Breakfast biscuits have helped Heat Up St. Louis reach a record.

Valentine’s Day was also the 14th annual Hardee’s Rise and Shine benefiting the organization.

60 area Hardee’s restaurants took part in the record-breaking $165,000 was raised from the sale of discounted sausage and egg biscuit sandwiches and tips given to 600 volunteers.

The money will be used to help seniors, the disabled and the needy, pay their heating bills.
