(CNN) - A three-year-old Arizona girl is doing something no other child her age has ever done. Alexis Martin is now a youngest member ever of Mensa, which is the international club with members of high IQ status.  She has an IQ of over 160.

Her father Ian says Alexis has been able to recite bedtime stories and taught herself Spanish. Her parents also give a lot of praise to the adult app on their iPad for their daughter's intelligence.

"Probably 12 to 18 months or so we'd be driving around in the car and she would recite her bedtime stories from the night before.  I mean we're talking 20 to 25 page books, she would recite them from the night before but not just recite them, recite them exactly." said Ian Martin.

Jackie Martin says: "She can read and translate and correct us on Spanish".

The average person has an IQ of a 100.
