ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)–You can now watch live streaming video of rockhopper, gentoo and king penguins and horned and tufted puffins from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day of the week at the St. Louis Zoo. After 5 p.m., they will play previously recorded footage.

You can see zookeepers feeding the animals and cleaning habitats, birds swimming and diving, resting, preening, building nests and sometimes even raising their young.

The animal care staff will also use the cameras to monitor the birds’ behavior year-round as part of the Zoo’s animal husbandry protocol.
