Missouri university curators may hire investigator for Sasha Corey’s case

COLUMBIA, MO (KPLR) - Just days after the Columbia Missouri Police Department launched an investigation into the alleged rape and suicide ofa former University of Missouri swimmer in 2010, the university is considering hiring an independent investigator.

The Missouri university curators are meeting in Columbia at this hour to discuss the case and whether to hire an investigator.

In the mind of university president Tim Wolfe the most important agenda item is the hiring of an independent counsel to uncover how Sasha Menu Corey`s case was handled.
