(KPLR) – January is the best time to look at this year's financial forecast. David Ott, partner with Acropolis Investment Management, discussed the trends for 2014 with Elliot Weiler.

*Unemployment numbers should improve

*The GDP will be better

*Inflation will remain low, perhaps too low

*Markets are near an all-time high.  Maintaining that is problematic

*The Federal Reserve will maintain its 'Taper Path' to steer the economy

*Interest rates should remain stable
