St. Louis Lions soccer team to host open tryouts

ST. LOUIS (KPLR) – The St. Louis Lions, a premier development team for professional soccer will be hosting open tryouts on February 22nd and 23 rd at St. Dominic High School in O’Fallon, Missouri. Tryouts will be from 12 pm to 5 pm for the Lions and the reserve squad.

The St. Louis Lions are part of the Premier Development League which helps train and develop  profession soccer talent for teams in the Major Soccer League, and other professional teams in Canada and the Caribbean.

Over the last four years, 136 players have been placed on professional teams, via the MSL draft.

Anyone wishing to tryout, must pre-register. For more information call the St. Louis Lions office at (636) 939-5151 or email with the word “Tryouts” in the subject line.  There is a fee of $100 for the tryout.
