(KTVI) - Students from a Ferguson elementary school damaged in our recent frigid weather started class at a new location Monday morning.

Students from Johnson Wabash Elementary School will attend classes at First Baptist Church on North Florissant Road in Ferguson.

A sprinkler head at Johnson Wasbash burst last week causing damage to as much as two-thirds of the school. The brutally cold weather is blamed for the problem.

Classes were cancelled at Johnson Wabash last Thursday and Friday while preparations were made to temporarily relocate classes to the church.  The district held a meeting for families last Thursday to talk about relocating the children.
