WILDWOOD, MO (KTVI)-- The freezing temperatures has closed a lot of area businesses, but the one business you would not expect to close its doors is Hidden Valley Ski Area.

The General Manager Bill Brandes said that he was not only worried about his customer’s safety but the safety of his own employees.  Despite the freezing temperatures many of his own employees were getting stuck on the roadways and decided to close Sunday and Monday.

Brandes is hoping that families will get cabin fever and want to get out of the house on Tuesday because they will be back open from 1-9pm.  Hidden Valley received 9 inches of snow over the weekend, and they're excited to see their customers enjoy some safe winter fun as the temperatures warm up.
