Cold weather cause pipe to burst in St. Louis County Justice Center

CLAYTON, MO. (KTVI) – Workers are cleaning up the St. Louis County Justice Center, after a water pipe burst in the lobby, on the first floor the building. A sprinkler pipe burst around 1 pm Tuesday afternoon, forcing closure of ground floor entrance.  Officials say the pipe burst, was due to the recent cold weather the region has been experiencing.

The Public Works Department expects the clean-up and repairs to be completed by 7 pm.

During the clean-up and repairs, access to the justice center will be only be available via the skywalk between the justice center and the courts building.
