BRIDGETON, MO (KTVI) – Lambert International Airport is just like the rest of the area, trying to dig out and get back to normal after the snowstorm Sunday.

Jeff Lea, with Lambert Airport, talked with Randi Naughton about the status of the airport Monday. Sunday , the airport played catch up most of the day with the winter weather, but was open.

Monday, the airport is again open, and of the more than 500 flights in and out of the airport, only 61 have been canceled so far Monday. Most of them are due to planes not arriving in St. Louis from other airports, which are also dealing with snow conditions and below freezing temperatures.

Lea reminds travelers to contact their airlines directly for updates on flights, delays, and schedules.
