(KPLR) – Jeff Bernthal has a take on the best way to keep kids safe on New Year's Eve.  If you ever worry about kids on New Year's Eve, you might want to start your worrying sooner than that.

Yes, kids are influences by the friends they choose, but an even bigger influence is their parents.

That means kids are watching their parents.  They will likely someday make their own decisions on the decisions they see their parents make.

So, just keep that in mind when you're headed out for New Year’s Eve.  If you make smart decisions, then your kids will have a better chance when it's their turn.
