ST. LOUIS, MO (KPLR) - St. Louis Police were called to multiple shooting scenes Sunday afternoon.  Two victims died.  Police say 4 others suffered serious injuries from gunshots.  The calls came within about 15 minutes of each other.
Two men sitting inside an SUV on Peck in the Fairground neighborhood were shot.  A 32 year old male was killed and a 23 year old male was critically wounded.  A stray bullet killed a 51 year old woman who was inside an apartment near the SUV.

'Unknown person or person came by and fired some shots in the car,' said Sgt Steven Mueller, St. Louis Metropolitan Police.  'We are interviewing witnesses, looking for other witnesses and gathering evidence.'

A few minutes later, police responded to a call for shots fired along Interstate 70 near Kingshighway.   One minute later, police were called to a shooting a few blocks away on Euclid.  A total of 3 victims had been shot.
'I understand there were several shootings throughout the city at about the same time but they are all independent,' said Mueller.
