BERKELEY, MO (KPLR)-Shemika Cosey vanished five years ago from a Berkeley, MO home. She was just 16-years-old. Her family held a vigil at Jackson Park Saturday.

“It was exactly five years ago and we want her to please come home,” her mother Paula Cosey said.

She said Shemika spent the night at a cousin’s house in the 6000 block of Napier. When everyone else woke up, Shemika was gone. She said her clothes were still in home and the front door was open.

Since then her family has passed out flyers with “age progression” photos and other information about Shemkia.

“If someone has her please let her go,” her mother said.

If you have any information call Berkeley Police at 314 524-3311.
