(KTVI) – ‘Tis the season for gingerbread, pumpkin spice and peppermint in everything from coffee to cookies.

Some companies hope the trend catches on with snacks.

Companies vying for consumer dollars have come up with unique items for the world’s most lucrative time of year.

Pringles Potato Crisps rolled out flavors including pecan pie, pumpkin pie spice, white chocolate peppermint, and cinnamon and sugar.

Chap Stick unveiled similar flavors: candy cane, apple cider and chocolate truffle.

One flavor Chap Stick says didn’t fly with consumers: white chocolate hot cocoa.

Target is offering flavored milks, including red velvet, chocolate mint and eggnog.

Gingerbread Peeps can satisfy your marshmallow fluff craving.

One set of green candy canes is not peppermint, but a surprising “fancy pickle” flavor.
