Quinn to sign same sex marriage bill Wednesday

(KTVI) – Illinois is becoming the 16th state in the nation to embrace full marriage equality.

Governor Pat Quinn says he will sign the historic legislation Wednesday at the University of Illinois in Chicago this afternoon.

The law will permit all couples in Illinois to receive the rights and protections of marriage.
