ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - It was a "first-ever" look at part of a St. Louis tradition, the "Guns 'n Hoses Box-Off." About 60 police officers, firefighters and EMS workers "teed-off" on each other Saturday, hoping to make the final cut for the main event at Scottrade Center.

The 27th Annual Guns 'N Hoses  will be held at Scottrade Center November  27, the Wednesday night before Thanksgiving. The event is a fundraiser for Backstoppers, Inc., which provides financial assistance to the families of police, firefighters, and EMS workers killed in the line of duty.
