ARNOLD, MO (KPLR)-One good deed deserves another.  That's what one Arnold business owner found out when she did something nice for U.S. Marines serving in Afghanistan.

For April Nickles, it was a simple cigar that led to a few surprises. She owns Havana Cigar Room is Arnold, MO.

Nickles explained, “I had a customer come in here and tell me that he was sending cigars to Afghanistan and I said, 'I don't want to charge you. I just want to take care of it and cover it.”

She threw in a humidor and handful of cigars and soon got an email from Afghanistan saying thanks.

Military service means a lot to this businesswoman. Her father served in Vietnam and grandfather fought in five battles during World War II.

The nice deed led to a care package courtesy of the U.S. Marine Corp, including a flag that was flown in combat over Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom.
