Wedding gown giveaway for military brides

(KPLR) - Veteran's Day is Monday, November 11, and beginning at 8:00am, something really special will be going on for brides to be.

Christine Buck spoke with Priscilla Visintine, from St. Louis Best Bridal, and Susan Peterson, the wedding registry specialist for Dillard's.

Brides-to-be in the military or engaged to an active military member can have their dreams of a perfect wedding come true.

Every half hour, 10 brides-to-be will have 30 minutes to select, try on and go home with the gown of their dreams until 100 gowns are gone.

Fashion experts from Dillard's will be on hand to assist the brides to beand Trotter Photo will help capture the memories.

Plus guests can register to win a fantastic rehearsal dinner at the St. Charles Convention Center and a three-night getaway trip to the Secrets Royal Beach in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, courtesy of The Travel Gals and Apple Vacations.  Plus each bride-to-be will be treated to a week of complimentary tanning at The Tan Companyand HydroLuXe will pamper each with a luxurious 15 minute massage session.

To qualify, the bride or groom must be active military personnel and provide a military identification number or a letter from their First Sergeant or Commander. The wedding must be held before 2016. For more information visit
