ST. CHARLES, MO (KTVI)-- There are a lot of little trick-or-treaters hitting area streets and ringing door bells on Halloween.
While many kids will be collecting candy, one St. Charles family will be handing out hot dogs.
They are getting ready for all the little boys and ghouls who will be stropping in St. Charles.
At the Kezele home, where for the past 14 years, they've been holding a Halloween tradition.
Neighbors call it the hot dog house. Besides a bag of candy, the Kezele’s will fill the bellies of anyone who stops by.
It's a frightful delight where you can stop for a bite.
They picked up the almost 700 hot dogs and buns that they began grilling Thursday afternoon.
It's a family and friends tradition for the Kezele's, handing out a bottled water, hot dog and bag of candy.
The Kezele’s used to live in North Country and got the idea for the red hot handout from another set of neighbors.
When they moved into this house they didn't know their neighbors 14 years ago, but now they certainly do.
