ST. LOUIS (KPLR) –Hundreds of volunteers gathered Saturday to clean up parks and streams around the St. Louis area.  Great Rivers Greenway sponsored the 5th annual River des Peres Trash Bash

Volunteers of all ages cleared litter and trash from several sites, including Gravois Creek in Crestwood, Green Park, Deer Creek in Maplewood and Ladue, Engelholm Creek near the University of Missouri-St. Louis campus, the Lower River des Peres along Germania Street in south St. Louis City and the Upper River des Peres in University City.
