Women share breast cancer survival stories with St. Louis

ST. LOUIS MO (KPLR) - The many faces of breast cancer; from those still here, fighting for their lives to those who fought hard, but lost their battle. Survivor Adrienne Palmer knows the story all too well.

One year after losing her sister to cancer, she underwent a double mastectomy. A Surgery that doctors say saved her life. The ordeal motivated Adrienne and her husband to help others in a unique way by helping show those still in the struggle their beauty and strength from within.

We're talking to survivors and a doctor about the strides being made to find a cure during this edition of "Afternoons on 11."
