(KPLR) – This week we kick off a look at some favorite playoff moments from Cardinals baseball.  Here's JB with “The Way It Oughta Be”.

I was a high school student and sitting on Rob Ensor's couch on October 16th, 1985.

How can I be so sure?  It's because I will never forget seeing this on television.  The Cardinals were losing by 2 runs in the 9th and up to the plate came Jack Clark.

In one split second the ball was launched into the stands for the game winning home run.

Outfielder Pedro Guerrero slammed his glove into the ground.  That moment brought so much joy to Cardinals fans.

The enemy was demoralized and the Cardinals were headed to the World Series.

That home run came 2 days after Jack Buck said, "Go crazy folks.  Go crazy."

It's hard to believe 2 great moments happened so close to each other but they did.

I'm JB and that's “The Way It Oughta Be.”
