VALLEY PARK, MO (KTVI)-- Animals wandering around the Valley Park area, appearing to be distressed, are getting some much needed help.

Members of the Bi-State Wildlife Hotline are putting out medicine laced chicken and peanut butter for the animals to eat.

By all appearances the animals are coyotes with mange, fairly normal for this time of year.

The medicine will help clear up the mange and allow the animals to get back to a more normal habitat.

The wildlife hotline is a not for profit organization that relies on donations to do its work.
