FLORISSANT, MO (KTVI)-- People gathered to learn more about "Obamacare" from officials with the non-profit "Organizing for Action" Tuesday night.

The meeting focused on the new health care exchange that becomes available Oct. 1.

About a dozen people with a lot of questions attended the meeting.

"There are so many things in the plan, so I just want to know what is going on and find answers," Rose Mary Johnson said.

Officials at the meeting said there will be two types of insurance exchanges.

One will be for individuals who can't find affordable insurance and the other will be for small businesses with less than 50 employees.

All Americans must have insurance by Jan. 1 2014.
