St. Louis County to join AARP Age-Friendly Community Network

ST. LOUIS COUNTY (KTVI) – St. Louis County Executive Charlie Dooley announced on Monday, that the county will be joining AARP’s Age-Friendly Communities Network in a 5 year partnership to address the needs of county’s aging baby boomers population.

It’s hoped that the partnership will take steps in assess, plan and take action to find ways to keep the county’s aging population safe, happy, productive and rewarding lives.

The formal acceptance into the network will happen on September 17th at 10 am at the Veteran’s Memorial/North County Recreation Complex at 2577 Redman Road.
