CASEYVILLE, IL (KTVI)-- Caseyville police have located a man they said is responsible for a hit and run that left a St. Louis woman in the intensive care unit.

Myia Holman, 37, was found in a ditch on St. Clair Ave. near Illinois 157 Sunday afternoon.

Police said someone riding on a MetroLink train spotted the body and called 911.

At 9:00 p.m. Sunday, FOX 2's Anthony Kiekow encouraged people with information to callpolice during a live report from the scene of the hit and run.

"At about 9:30 we got a call from someone who saw the news report and knew the circumstances," Interim Caseyville Police Chief Frank Moore said. "It was the push we needed to find him and build a case."

The 60-year-old suspect from Fairview Heights was brought in for questioning, but he was not put in jail.

"He complained of leg pain and was taken into the hospital where he is being treated," Moore said.

The suspect is expected to face felony charges.

"We have the right guy," Moore said.
