Gas prices set a record

(KPLR) – Gas prices have set a record, that is sure to drive you crazy.  Triple-a said Tuesday was the one-thousandth day in a row, gas prices have been above three bucks a gallon.

The current streak began on December 23rd, 2010.

The  average per gallon is $3.25 in St. Louis and $3.52 a gallon nation-wide.

Triple-a predicts, $3 a gallon is basically here to stay, unless there’s another recession.
