September is suicide prevention month

(KPLR) - The month of September is suicide prevention month.  The month is designated to increase awareness,erase stigma, and save lives.

Alex Noel, a board member at Chad's Coalition for Mental Health, talked with Christine Buck about their upcoming fundraiser.

Chad's Superheroe Run-Walk will take place on September 15 in Tower Grove Park.

Walk in registration is welcome and opens at 7 a.m. the day of the event.  Registration costs $30.

All proceeds go to bullying and suicide prevention.

The run-walk begins at 8 a.m.
