ST. LOUIS, MO (KPLR) – Andrew Maberry, 19, of O’Fallon, Illinois surrendered to the St. Louis FBI office less than 24 hours after public announcements were issued asking for the public’s assistance in finding the bandit.

Officials believe that 10 banks were robbed, and two more were attempted in five different states: Illinois, Missouri, Maryland, West Virgina, and Tennessee since early May, that might have a connection to the “I-55 Bandit.”

Maberry is charged with one count of bank robbery in association with the July 2 robbery at Commerce Bank in Arnold, Missouri. The FBI is continuing it’s investigation to determine with Maberry is linked to other bank robberies.
