(CNN) – Auto maker Toyota has issued two voluntary safety recalls that affect more than 100,000 of its Highlander hybrid and Lexus models.

The first recall affects the Toyota Highlander hybrid and Lexus RX 400H vehicles. In these models, transistors can suffer heat damage…causing the car to shut down while a driver is behind the wheel.

The second recall affects Lexus IS 350, IS 350C and GS 350 vehicles. In these models the bolts used to fasten the variable valve timing control device can become loose, causing the vehicle to stop while being driven.

Toyota says they will notify vehicle owners involved in the recall by first class mail.
