DINWIDDIE COUNTY, VA. (CNN) - No, this is Pamplonalona, Spain. It's Dinwiddie County, Virginia.

The Virginia Motorsports Park hosted the first ever "Great Bull Run" Saturday.

Three persons were hurt at the event, 2 by bulls and one by a gyrocopter taking aerial footage of the event, when the copter crashed into the stands, hitting a man in the face.

Organizers say the event is modeled after the famous running of the bulls at the San Fermin Festival in Spain.

And while this may have been the first Bull Run in the United States, it won't be the last.

The next run is scheduled for October 19th in Atlanta, with planned dates across the U.S.  through next year.
