Russian meteor left tons of material in atmosphere

(KPLR) - The meteor that exploded over Russia last February left behind more than just debris on land.  A new study found that the meteor also left behind a huge plume of dust.

The cloud had hundreds of tons of material in it and was still visible three months after the crash.

The study tracked the debris field and future research will determine if debris could affect cloud formation.
