(KPLR) - This week's edition of The Pulse Of St. Louis (The Pulse) focuses on crime in St. Louis City and in St. Louis County. One area that is proving to be a growing concern is car break-ins. Criminals are breaking into vehicles looking for guns. Because of an increase in the number of vehicles break-ins, officers from the city and county are working together to help solve the growing problem. Law enforcement officials say thieves are breaking into cars looking for legally owned guns to commit crimes. They advise gun owners to secure their weapons in a safe that is mounted to the vehicle to prevent bad guys from taking them.
