Free school supplies this weekend at Chaifetz Arena

ST. LOUIS, MO (KPLR) -  A back to school festival is slated for this Saturday. The St. Louis Public School District is teaming up with the St.Louis Community Empowerment Foundation to hand out school supplies, free backpacks, haircuts at Chaifetz Arena.

Free backpacks filled with school supplies will be distributed to students while supplies last.  In addition, games, rides, gifts, prizes, and free food will be available for all attendees. Free parking will be available at the Saint Louis University garage on Compton and Olive, as well as on the Harris Stowe State University campus.  Shuttle services will also be provided at select locations.

The first day of school is August 12th.
