Officials say all students were assigned numbers, but since their computers died, the selection process was delayed for about three hours.
Cooperating School District officials say there was an 8:30 a.m. meeting planned with the superintendents of receiving districts, but that meeting has now been pushed back to around 12 noon Friday.
After the meeting Cooperating School District personnel will begin letting parents know where there children will attend classes in just a few weeks.
Another issue that officials noted was that some Riverview parents did not put down a third choice on their application. Officials say they'll have to contact those parents by phone to see if they want to choose a third district or stay in the Riverview Gardens district.
