Man Arrested For Allegedly Trying To Saw Into Walmart Cash Room

COLLINSVILLE, IL (KTVI)– A 29-year-old man has been charged for allegedly trying to saw his way into at Walmart cash room.

Jelani E. Johnson was charged with two counts of Burglary.

Collinsville Police Department detectives positively identified Johnson as the suspect in the burglaries at the Collinsville Walmart that occurred on 4/11/13 and 7/8/13.

The Honorable Judge James Hackett set the bond for Jelani Johnson at $80,000. Johnson is currently in custody at the Collinsville Police Department.
