(KTVI) – A St. Louis family just got a little bigger.  Salmone Numbere gave birth to four babies on July 2 at SSM St. Mary’s Health Center in Richmond Heights, MO.

The babies, two boys and two girls, range from 2 pounds, 6 ounces to 3 pounds, 12 ounces and are all breathing on their own.  Salmone and her husband Aroloye said, “this is truly a blessing. We couldn’t be more pleased.”

The babies (pictured left to right) are named Eliel, Elias, Elietha, and Elidad.

Doctors at SSM St. Mary’s have been preparing for the delivery for the last nine weeks.

“We rehearsed every possible scenario and time frame to avoid any surprises and ensure the healthiest outcomes for these babies,” said Dr. Al-Hosni.  Each baby had its own team of doctors.

The babies will not go home for another six weeks.  This is the fourth set of quads born at St. Mary’s since 2006.
