(KPLR) – Sharing tips with your co-workers.

If I had money to burn I'd probably buy coffee from Starbucks, I hear they make a mean Carmel macchiato.

I also heard a lawsuit over the tip jar at a New York Starbucks has been settled.

I'm not a fan of the tip jar.  Too many have popped up at places where I just don't think there should be one.

In this case the people making the coffee now must share their tips with their assistant managers who are the very people who schedule the coffee makers.

I wish companies would just pay folks enough so I don't have to make up the difference.

I'm JB and that's “The Way It Oughta Be”.
