KIRKWOOD, MO. (KPLR) – Grocery store chain ALDI is one step closer to moving to Des Peres after the city’s Planning and Zoning Commission recommended a conditional use permit request last week.

As Patch previously reported, ALDI, based in O’Fallon, Mo., shared plans to add three new stores in the St. Louis area this year. The Creve Coeur location opened in May, with another one aimed for the corner of Kingshighway and Delmar in the city.
