ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – The Missouri Botanical Garden is hosting the largest succulent event in the midwest.
Jerry Beckerman stopped by to explain to Christine Buck the Henry Shaw Cactus and Succulent Society Show and Sale will take place this weekend.
The annual cactus show will be the featured highlight of the opening weekend of the Missouri Botanical Garden’s new Desert Show: Plants and People of the U.S. Deserts exhibit.
Cacti and succulents of all sizes and shapes will be available for viewing and purchase. Choose from thousands of plants appealing to varied tastes and experience levels, with pricing starting at $2.00.
The cactus society’s two-day show will be located in the Beaumont Room of Missouri Botanical Garden’s entry building. Members will be on hand to offer information for novice as well as more serious growers.
