Illinois Given More Time to Lift Ban on Concealed Weapons

(KTVI) – There’s more time to consider a conceal and carry measure in Illinois.  The U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals is giving the state an extra 30 days to lift its ban on concealed weapons.

The new deadline to pass a law is July 9th.  Attorney General Lisa Madigan made the request so Governor Pat Quinn would have more time to review a conceal and carry bill passed last week.
