Owner Killed After Double Shooting At Wireless Store On Chippewa

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – One person is dead after a double shooting at the QuickStop Convenience and Wireless at 4400 Chippewa.

Police say a man tried to rob the store. The owners, who are brothers, pulled out a baseball bat when the suspect demanded money. The suspect then pulled a gun on the brothers, shooting them after they refused to hand over their money.

Both victims were taken to an area hospital by ambulance. One brother, 23, was shot in the arm. He is in stable condition. The 19-year-old brother, identified as Haris Gogic, was shot in the head and he later died.

Police are looking for a black male suspect in his late 20’s or early 30’s who took off from the scene in a SUV.  He is described as having a dark complexion, slim build, a goatee and mustache.  He was wearing a grey shirt, grey pants and grey baseball cap.
