DES PERES, MO (KPLR) – Dr. Stepen Benz and patient Roy Ramey joined Christine Buck to talk a out some free health screenings.

Dr. Benz is from the Men's Medical Institute in St. Louis. The group is offering free health screenings for veterans and public servants as part of National Military Appreciation Month.

The free health screenings are for active and retired US military servicemen, police, fire and EMS personnel in St. Louis throughout the month of May.

Men will receive a free blood draw to determine levels of testosterone. MMi will also screen for various illnesses and diseases, including cholesterol, diabetes, kidney or thyroid dysfunction before symptoms occur. In addition, new patients will receive half-off of their first month`s treatment plan.
