(KPLR) – The St. Louis Public Library hosted the first national poetry contest for 7th graders this year. More than 90 schools competed from seven different states. 

Founder and President Aaron Williams joined Christine Buck in the studio to talk about the importance of this program and the life skills that can be gained through poetry.
