LINCOLN COUNTY, MO (KPLR) - Late Friday afternoon, Winfield-Foley firefighters discovered a 150 foot breach in the Bobs Creek Levee near Winfield, MO.   Flood waters are steadily rising, not rushing in. Water levels are expected to rise significantly in parts of Winfield and Foley, east of Highway 79.

Firefighters are going door to door in affected areas in Winfield Acres and Foley, MO East of Hwy 79 and informing residents of the situation.   Evacuation is voluntary at this point.

Firefighters checking the levees by boat discovered the breach just southeast of Winfield, about a half mile from the Pin Oak levee that breached in 2008.

The Pin Oak levee, Mississippi River levee, and all other levees remain intact at this point.
