Stop Drug Abuse; Drop Off Unused Prescription Pills

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – The city of St. Louis is taking steps to cut down on medication abuse by offering a safe way to toss unused pills. The CDC classifies prescription drug abuse as an epidemic. Nearly 3,000 teenagers abuse medication for the first time each day.

This Saturday, people can drop off unwanted prescription and over the counter medication at four Walgreen locations. There are several drop off locations in the county as well.
