(KTVI) – The Missouri House voted to move the state permanently to Daylight Saving Time, if a minimum of 19 other states do the same.

Once 20 states join the “Daylight Saving as the new Standard Time pact,” all states would permanently observe Daylight Saving and would not “fall back” to Standard Time.

The bill now moves to the Missouri Senate for a vote.

Lawmakers have until May 17 to approve the legislation.
