(KTVI) – The Federal Reserve announced Wednesday a newly designed $100 bill will be introduced to circulation this fall, two years after it’s initial release.

Benjamin Franklin will still be the face of the new bill, but several security designs will be added. A couple features on the new bill will be a bright blue security ribbon and a disappearing Liberty Bell in an inkwell.

The high tech security features help make the bill harder to replicate.

The $100 bill is the last bill in circulation to undergo an extensive redesign. The $1 bill will not be getting a redesign.
