(KPLR) - With the warm weather, many people are starting outdoor projects around their  homes. Dr. Sonny Saggar of St. Louis Urgent Cares says when it comes to working outside, some simple safety practices can keep you out of the emergency room.

Dr. Saggar warns people to be careful not to underestimate the workload. Remember to take breaks and lift with your legs, not your back. The doctor also says wearing proper clothing while working can prevent a lot of injuries.
